In the field of Psychology, ANTs is an acronym that stands for “Automatic Negative Thoughts.”

There are many types of ANTs, but one example would be....”If I cannot do it perfectly, I might as well not bother at all.”

These ANTS can heighten anxiety, disturb our wellbeing, alter our brain chemistry, and even prevent us from taking actions we want to take. 🧠 🏻‍♀️


If you find yourself feeling mad, sad, nervous, or out-of-control, write down what you are thinking. Then identify which ANT is infesting your mind and talk back to it. Find the evidence which suggests that your ANT is wrong.

🧠 Challenging negative thoughts, takes away their power and gives YOU control over your thoughts, moods, and behaviors.
