My inbox has been flooded with parent concerns regarding virtual/distance learning. I wanted to discuss some easy tips + tools which will allow for a more successful academic year.
Create a quiet workspace area for your child with lots of visuals, which is separate from their play area.
If the teacher has not created a daily schedule-create one along with your child that’s feasible and includes breaks that allow for movement (OUTDOOR breaks are best!).
Identify a preferred reward (something your child REALLY likes) and have them work toward it following the completion of work tasks (daily or weekly rewards or both).
