​Dr. Sheava has been in the field for over 20 years, and is knowledgeable with regard to the California Education Code, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of ADA as well as working with private/independent schools in obtaining appropriate accommodations/supports to meet your child's needs. 

These educational systems can be intimidating when navigating on your own, however, Dr. Sheava has the expertise and experience necessary to advocate for your child's best interest. 

Dr. Sheava can assist with meetings as well as the development of IEPs/504 plans/learning plans, while recommending the most appropriate and individualized accommodations and modifications for your child.
In addition, Dr. Sheava also supports children ages 10+ through adolescents, young adults, including college/graduate students in determining learning strengths/needs and how to advocate for supports/accommodations within higher education.
