

Dr. Sheava has devoted her career to supporting the emotional and educational well-being of children and families for over 20 years. She earned her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, and her Ph.D. from the University of the Pacific. She is a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) in the state of California and holds certification as a B.I.C.M. (Behavioral Intervention Case Manager).
Dr. Sheava’s background includes extensive experience in psychoeducational assessments, consultation, school-based mental health, and educationally related mental health services (ERMHS). She has also conducted and published research in areas such as suicide prevention, body dysmorphic disorder, and academic factors affecting children with chronic illness. Her work spans across crisis intervention, psychometrics, behavioral consultation, and facilitating workshops and webinars.
Dr. Sheava’s work as a Licensed Educational Psychologist spans all age groups, offering tailored psychological services that support learning, adjustment, and mental wellness in a variety of educational and life contexts.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Sheava enjoys Pilates, violin, tennis, biking, and nature walks. She is also a wife and proud mother of two amazing daughters. Her journey as a parent informs her professional practice, enhancing her ability to support clients with genuine empathy and connection.
